Sažetak
The underlying issue of this article is the scope of the lawyer’ s authority in pursuing the legal profession outside the country of origin. The globalization and market integration processes have induced the creation of new rules, which impose new freedoms and new obligations to lawyers when involved in multijurisdictional legal activities. The paper presents the current treatment of foreign lawyers in Croatia, then focuses on the free movement of lawyers inside the EU and finally speculates on the regulatory measures Croatia might undertake while being a candidate country.
