Sažetak
Background and Purpose: Simple, quick and accurate procedure of all alpha- and all beta-protein fold class prediction is presented. The method is based on the binary coding algorithm of amino acid physicochemical properties. Results and Discussion: It is shown that Hamming code represents accurate method for this type of secondary protein structure analysis. The procedure can be performed from the pn'mary amino acid and/or nucleotide strings on a personal computer.
