Sažetak
Infraocclusion, or submerging teeth, suppression, or inclusion, is a well-recognized complication of dental development. Its occurrence in restored teeth is rare and has hitherto only been reported in a second deciduous molar. Nineteen-year-old man presented complaining of pain in his right mandible, which was found to be due to pericoronal infection on the lower right first molar, which was clinially absent. It would appear that this tooth became submerged, and seemingly unerupted, following restoration and then, subsequently, mesial tilting of the second molar.
