Sažetak
« ; Black smoke» ; means the dark particulate matter which is sufficiently small in particle size to be effectively suspended in the air and which is largely a product of the combustion of fuels. The principle of the method for smoke measurement is that known volume (~ 2 m3) of air is drawn through a filter paper Whatman No. 1 on which the smoke is left as a dark stain and photometric measurement of the darkness by a reflectometer. The darkness of the stain is then interpreted as a surface concentration, in terms of the surface concentration of a standard smoke, by means of international calibration curve.
