Sažetak
The anions (F(-), Cl(-)m Br(-), NO3(-), NO2(-) and SO4(2-)) were determined by means of ion chromatographic analysis modified from different relations of anions in the eluents. The apparatus used was a 690 ion Chromatograph (Metrohm) with IC Anion Column Super Sep. The column and the precolumn are filled with phthalic acid eluent. The chromatograms were treated on a C-R5A Chromatopac by means of two methods. The calibration by standard addition and the calibration with external standard were used. The results of the elution point to the inertness of the slag-medium system, except at the contact of the slag with fluoride. The fluoride forms a bond with the slag, and the factors of the fluoride saturation of the system are experimentally determined by means of IC. Calculations that followed gave values of distribution coefficient (Kd) as ratio of the anion concentration in slag and in solution. Detailed slag characterization with ion chromatography application, has proved that this is a chemically inert material, which anions do not elute in the environment. On the other hand, slag has proved to be a very good fluoride adsorbent, therefore slag application possibilities are extended.
