Sažetak
Bridges are crucial points of the road traffic network. To reach the same level of safety, serviceability and durability of Croatian bridges on all traffic corridors, it is necessary to adopt temporary standards in their design, as soon as possible. In European standards for structures, parts considering the design of bridges are very dissipated. Therefore, together with national documents for applications based on European codes we recommend the composing of special technical documents concerning design and dimensioning of bridges, exclusively. This technical document should be more universal and concise. Croatian codes for bridge loading will be based on European codes with national load specifications due to different climate, environment and traffic circumstances.
