Sažetak
Photography is, with its semantic characteristices, the media, which is most trusted ; its syntax is universally understandable. Its technical characteristics allow reproducibility through various printed and electronic editions. As the photographic semantics and syntax can be accepted as a universal language, a photograph has an important informational role especially ina electronic issues and Internet data exchange. This accentuates the role of photography in education, and in the area of e-learning. In order to serve its purpose, a published illustration photo must be reproduced in such a way that its characteristics do not vary from the author’ s set parameters. The problems are accentuated in electronic editions. The primary problem, in this case, is that the consuments perceive the visual information (photograph) through the reproduction on mutually different monitors. This paper examines how the usage of different monitors influences the perception of photographic illustration in electronic editions through color difference defining and the acceptance of these differences.
