Sažetak
Tram vehicle type TMK2100 was constructed from parts of the old type TMK201 (Đuro Đaković) and upgraded reconstructions and modernizations. Such “ hybrid” vehicle has shown a lot of incompatibilities between the old and the new parts. The paper deals with an unexpected and unpredictable incompatibility which caused two effects that couldn’ t be related at first look: aggressive corrosion of tram’ s metal parts and electromagnetic interferences on electronic equipment. The incorrect design of ground brushes, their cases and their wiring caused that current flew “ all over the tram’ s body” . The results of the measuring of the earthing currents implied the compensation parts as the solution to these problems.
