Sažetak
Eastern enlargement that took place in May 2004 did not produce major negative effects for the new member states, since the countries passed through intensive preparations during the accession. The EU-10 are already benefiting from the first positive impacts of accession. Positive experiences therefore create better chances for the next enlargement, the one of the SAP countries.
