Sažetak
Project « Social-pedagogical diagnosis – participation of beneficiaries in the process of need assessment and planning of intervention» included 40 children and youth with behaviour disorders. 27 participants were in the process of institutional diagnosis and 13 participants were placed in living community. In the accordance with the Ethical code for research with children all participants gave their informed consent for participation in this research. Semi-structured interview with accent on self-presentation was conducted with children/ youth concerning all aspects of their life: self, family, school, peers and leisure time, normative orientation, future, coping strategies, intervention, behaviour disorders. Participants were in the age between 12 and 20 years old: 19 female and 21 male participants. Qualitative methodology was used for data analysis- summarizing and structuring in order to understand the perspective of children and youth. Through the process of summarizing, original statements from the interviews were organized in categories and dimensions. This paper is the part of the whole research and it discuss the aspect of school in following categories: perception of school, relationship toward school, changes of school, ways of learning, perception of learning, perception of school success, relationship with teachers, expectations form the teachers, status among peers.
