Sažetak
This paper explores the essentials of entrepreneurial environment and identifies the key obstacles that impact the supply of entrepreneurship. The guiding idea is that productive entrepreneurship will be developed and further advanced in cases where a sound environment provides opportunities, motivation to take upon those opportunities and conditions enhancing entrepreneurs’ ability to start and manage business. Using comprehensive reviews of constraints experienced by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and undertaken by different institutions and programs, this paper integrates theoretical framework of entrepreneurial environment into practical perspective. Policy guidelines for improving the entrepreneurial environment conditions drown from these obstacles are discussed as well.
