Sažetak
Peptidoglycan monomer (PGM),the disaccharide pentapeptide and the derivative Boc-Tyr-PGM were coupled to two polysccharides: the glucuronoxylomannan (GXM) from Cryptococcus neoformans and to the dextran FP 70. Both polysaccharides were activated by CNBr, coupled to adipic acid hydrazide and reacted with Boc-Tyr-PGM. Mice were immunized with the polysaccharide or conjugates of the polysaccharides and immunomodulators, respectively. Mice sera were analyzed for anti-dextran or anti-GXM content by appropriate ELISA. The tested conjugates exhibited immunostimmulating effect on humoral response.
