Sažetak
Polyynes, -(CC)n-, π -electron systems of the sp-hybridized structure, a truly one-dimensional molecules, have recently been synthesized up to decayne [1]. They are good candidates for molecular wires. We obtain electronic structure and transport properties of dithiolated and phenyl caped polyyne oligomers chemisorbed onto Au(111) electrodes with the ab initio full selfconsistent description of the molecule and the electrodes.
