Sažetak
In this paper we define competitiveness as ability of enterprises to achieve sustainable production growth on domestic and foreign markets. We take a closer look at competitiveness of Croatian exports. After the analysis of the Croatian foreign trade structure we examine the role of microeconomic factors in explaining competitiveness of Croatian enterprises. The potential of the regional trade for raising this competitiveness is discussed. Conclusion follows at the end.
