Sažetak
This paper is based on the analysis of published and unpublished last wills of female testators originating from several Dalmatian communes in the first place from Dalmatian metropolis - Zadar. Author is giving the reasons for composing last wills such as sickness, old age, travelling for the purpose of business or in pilgrimages, epidemic of plague, medical reasons such as pregnancy, and so on. A number of Dalmatian last wills pointed out that the greatest part of communal noble women testators recorded their wills in the moment when they were already bodily decrepit because of old age or they lied on their death bed because of sickness.
