Sažetak
In the rat, a major lacrimal gland is situated at the close proximity to the external ear and the parotid gland. It is called the exorbital lacrimal gland. A morphology of exorbital gland at the various ages of the rat was investigated using the transmission electron microscopy. It seems that the acini of rat exorbital gland have two types of cells with different appearance of the cytoplasm.
