Sažetak
Realization of the visual message in printed media is dependent on the reproduction process. In order to achieve qualitative realization which enables the presentation of the idea in the way the designer has it in mind, the controlled technological process is necessary. In the area of printing technology it is enabled by Color Management System. The application of Color Management System in this study is analyzed on the complementary pairs of colors which are usually used for solutions of outdoor media, for posters and environmental graphics. The research was based on the analysis of the colorimetric values of the comparative colors of reproductions obtained without and with Color Management System. In this way there is the tendency to contribute to quality presentation of the conceptual ideas with the application of Color Management System in the frame of printed media, regarding the set aims in the technological process.
