Sažetak
Application of several ozone based processes ; direct ozonation (O3), ozonation combined with zeolites NH4ZSM5 (O3/NH4ZSM5) and NaY (O3/NaY), and ozonation combined with hydrogen peroxide i.e. peroxone process (O3/H2O2), for the treatment of model wastewater containing organic reactive azo dye C.I. Reactive Blue 137 (RB137) were studied. The efficiency of applied processes for decolorization and mineralization of RB137 model solution is discussed. Almost complete decolorization of RB137 solution was achieved with all applied AOPs, even at higher dye concentration (150 mgl-1), while extents of partial mineralization followed the increasing order: O3 < O3/NaY < O3/NH4ZSM5 < O3/H2O2. Mathematical model for decolorization and mineralization of RB137 model solution by peroxone process was developed.
