Sažetak
In spite of the fact that we did not observe sex differences in the effects of bicuculline on 3H-muscimol binding in the cortical and subcortical brain membranes of rats, the possibility of sex differences in the characteristics of neurotransmitter binding sites as well as other binding sites at the GABA-A receptor complex, in more discrete brain areas, such as those taking part in the control of convulsive activity, still exists.
