Sažetak
Preparation of amorphous aluminosilicate precursors with defined chemical properties is very important factor for further studies of nucleation and crystal growth of zeolites during their thermal and hydrothermal transformation. Amorphous aluminosilicate precursors obtained by mechanochemical treatment (ball milling) of zeolite A, zeolite X and synthetic mordenite were hydrothermally treated in NaOH solution at 80o C in order to their transformation to zeolites. Depending on the alkali concentration and the temperature at which the hydrothermal transformation was taken place, the amorphous sample obtained by the amorphization of zeolite A is transformed to zeolite A and zeolite X. Amorphous precursor obtained from zeolite X is transformed to hydroxysodalite or zeolite A, and amorphous sample obtained by ball milling of synthetic mordenite is transformed to zeolite X. Chracterization of the amorphous precursors and obtained crystalline products was carried out by FTIR spectroscopy, X-ray diffractometry and scanning-electron microscopy.
