Sažetak
The groups of euthyroid, hypothyroid, as well as hypothyroid rats treated with two different doses of T3 (i.e. 25 ug/100 g and 100 ug/100 g body weight) for the period of 2, 5 and 7 days, were killed, and the organs: brain, liver and kidney were quickly isolated. In all the isolated organs the rate of protein synthesis, the activities of the malic enzyme and the Na, K, ATPase were determined. The results obtained by measuring the activities of the enzymes, together with other physiological parameters (T3 content, oxygen consumption, body and organ weight etc.), would be presented and discussed for all these groups of rats with the different thyroid status.
