Sažetak
The distribution pattern and frequency of immunoreactive gastrin cells was studied in the antrum of human fetuses (18 to 40 weeks) and in the neonatal period (1, 5 and 2 months). Using unlabeled enzyme PAP method, several control tests (NaCl content in PBS, pH, immune and non-immune sera) to check the specificity of the immunoperoxidase staining was performed on both human and rats antrum. The polyvalent immunoreactivities of gastrin cells, described by some authors in rat, cannot be attributed to the human G-cells during ontogenesis. Stereological analysis showed a significant increase of the volume and numerical densities of antral G-cells in fetal and neonatal material studied.
