Sažetak
Disaccharidases are brush border enzymes of intestinal mucosa subject to the influence of many factors. Maltase, sucrase and lactase values were examined in partially hepatectomized mice, treated and untreated with Sandostatin. The disaccharidase activities were determined according to the method of Dahlquist modified by Lutkić. The observed factors of the influence on disaccharidase activity in the intestinal mucosa, hepatectomy and Sandostatin, statistically significantly change enzyme activity, depending on the localization and type of enzyme (maltase, sucrase or lactase). Sandostatin mainly causes a decrease of disaccharidase values, probably due to the direct inhibitory effect on pancreatic cholecystokinin secretion. The influence of hepatectomy is more complicated and it cannot be reduced to a common denominator.
