Sažetak
In this paper, the authors investigate histological and histochemical characteristics of bone and horn connections rožišta of fallow deer (Dama dama L.) as part of the cycle rasata horns punorožaca. Materials for testing were collected from 7 males from the Brijuni National Park just before the rejection of the horns. The standard treatment histological display materials used were tissue staining with hemelaun and eozin and alaunhematoksilin. The purpose of the research was to determine changes in tissue structure and hydrolitical and oksidatical cell activity in demineralized zone. It is therefore explored the specific activity of enzymes, ie acid phosphatase (KF), alkaline phosphatase (AF),  NADH, succinite dehydrogenase (SDH) and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) in demineralized zone, bone tissue, and skin periost. The combination of horn rožišta has the characteristics of bone-specific links to specific improper deployment osteocita in the bone structure. At the time of the rejection of the horn clearly recognizes the central zone of macroscopic bone detritus as a center of demineralisation. Histoenzimatic activities researched tissue indicates that a fundamental change in the central zone demineralized activities hidrolitic enzyme primarily AF, while the activity of enzymes oksidativic expressed very poorly with the exception of  NADH. He also identified significant differences in the structure of the skin area has representation at the expense of elastic collagen fibers. This paper presents the original scientific papers in the field of histology and histochemistry of tissues of wild animals. According to the first such issue in our research and includes research into the world trend growth cycle of the horn as a general model for studying the growth and regeneration of bone tissue.
