Sažetak
The article presents a principle layout of a modern HUMS along with the basic system operating procedures. The article also deals with the impact of HUMS on aircraft maintenance procedures and economy, the impact on maintenance system architecture and the implimentation of cost-saving measures.The improvement of flight-safety as a consequence of HUMS usage is discused as well.
