Sažetak
IP Multicast solves he problem of transmitting data to multiple parties. It sends a single copy of the data over a distribution tree which originate at the source and branches out to various destinations. Main problem of IP Multicast transfer is reliability. Reliable Multicast solutions can be achived by sending negative acknowledge (NACK) to the source, if there is a loss of data. The proposed multicast architecture succesfully solves problems of heterogeneous environments.
