Sažetak
The study deals with effects of one experimental training program designed especially for women which were actively involved in sports for many years but in time when this experiment has done live sedentary. 8) were exposed to combined&plusmn ; During 12 weeks, 24 female ex-athletes mean age 34 ( strength and endurance training in popular combative dance aerobic form. The program was designed on postulation that the training intensities are higher then those for nontrained population of women. The group exercised 3 days a week, for 60 min with sub-maximal intensities. Exercise routines in main part consisted of various combinations of low-impact aerobics with punches, kicks, floor exercises for upper body strength and even various jumps. Subjects’ pre-and post-training assessments consisted of the same procedures which were used in the time when subjects were highly trained athletes. We measured sit-ups as a maximum number of bent-leg sit-ups in 1-min, push-ups in 15” , Sargent test of jump power, standing flexibility test where the subject, standing on the platform, had to bend down with straight legs, and slide fingertips along the meter stick as far as possible, 1-min jumping from a squat position - endurance test, and finally 2-kg ball throwing from lying on the back. Pace and HR submax was assessed in sitting position before training and after 1-min jumping from a squat, respectively. Differences between pre-and post-training were analysed using a t-test for dependent samples. P < .05 was selected to indicate statistical significance. All the results, except flexibility, were considerably higher on final try. The biggest improvement was achieved in strength - PushUp +49%, SitUps +19% and in endurance jumps +24%. Improvement can be explained through low initial fitness level which in some extend depended from the duration of a inactivity period after termination of sports career. Although weight training wasn’ t used but only multiple sets floor exercises, a gain in strenght was achieved. Reasons can be also found in the specificity of combative type of aerobic where many punches and kicks moves are present. HRpace was decreased which was expected in line with cardiovascular adaptations to training.
