Sažetak
As a component of multinational study of family businesses, a sample of Croatian family firms was analyzed with regard to size. Statistical analyses showed three significant differences between larger and smaller companies in the sample, out of a total of eleven management activities, styles and characteristics. Larger family firms were more likely to use non-family members within top management, were more likely to use outside consultatns, advisors and professional services, and were more likely to use sophisticated methods of financial management.
