Sažetak
50 patients with Reinke's oedema were analyzed using digital fiberscopy, endoscopy and stroboscopy and their voices were analyzed acoustically using subjective perception evaluation and objective methods. Tissue samples collected during laryngomicroscopy and phonosurgery were analyzed histologically, histochemically, biochemically and ultrastructurally. The postoperative voice results were correlated to such morphological and histological parameters. The possible mechanism of changes in extracellular matrix in Reinke's space was discussed as well as the possibilities of treating Reinke's oedema not only by surgical procedure.
