Sažetak
Two out of 265 hub coupling on the cooling fans were damaged, after approximetally two years of operation. Cooling fans system are products of Howden, which includes as follows: motor, gear box , fan shaft, fan coupling, fan blades Material of the hub coupling is EN – JS 1040/1050. Motor torque characteristic at a start up is 2.6 times of nominal torque. Operating speed of the fan is 73.38 RPM. Nominal motor power is 90 kW The aim of analysis is investigation of the hub strength to get cause of cracks and damages.
