Sažetak
Rib-knitted structures are structures that consist of loop wales grouped on the face and on the back of knitted fabric. Structures that have the same number of wales in the rib on the face and on the back are called balanced. In the paper basic geometrical and knitted fabric parameters like fabric density, tightness factor, fabric bulk density and the ratio of yarn linear density and knitted fabric thickness are discussed. Samples of balanced rib-knitted fabrics 1x1, 2x2, 3x3, 4x4 and 5x5 were knitted and geometrical and knitted fabric parameters of rib structures are compared.
