Sažetak
The primary goal of these investigations was to fortify how appearance of BSE affects on beef market in Eastern Croatia. Also in this paper we want to show some opinions of consumers and their atitude to beef market after huge number of positive cases in BSE in European community (EU), which is in close neighborhood with Republic of Croatia. The analyses were show that beef consumptions in analuzed area were very hifh in percentage (98-100%). With appearances of BSE the citizens were introduced very well also in high percentage (94-99, 5% of checked people gave the positive answers). We fortified the great variability of opinion for unbelief in beef quality and actual existence of BSE in Croatia citizens give faith that BSE will not appear in Croatia. For that reason it is very important keep up the good work on trust to Croatian citizens. This trust will lay the basis on quality and safety of beef exportation lever in EU and rest of the World.
