Sažetak
The cause of the impaired villous delopment and their blood vessels can be explained by change of concentration in growth factors during hypoxia and hyperoxiy. VEGF and PlGF have complementary opposite influence on angiogenesis. Hypoxia induces increased synthesis of VEGF. Hyperoxia increases and hypoxia decreases synthesis of PlGF.
