Sažetak
With intention to establish the latent morphological characteristics of young grown up women the data have been obtained on the sample of 308 female examenees, at age from 19 to 27 years. The set of 33 morphological measures was chosen so as to cover the first level of structural model, which presumes that the variability and covariability of morphological characteristics depend upon the latent generator responsible for the longitudinal dimensionality of the skeleton, transversal dimensionality of skeleton, body's volume and mass and body fat. the structure of morphological characteristics was obtained using principal component analysis with the number of components fixed first to 4 and then to 5. The two initial solutions were transformed into the orthoblique. Well defined factor of the sceleton's longitudinal dimensionality was identified, in the four- dimensional as well as in the five-dimensional solutions. The body fat factor, identified in the four-dimensional solution, and in the system of five morphological factors hes been divided in two particular, mutually highly connected factors: the generator of accomulation of body fat on the trunk and the generator of accomulation of body fat on the extremities. The factor of circular body dimensionality, isolated in the four- dimensional space together with some transverzal measures of trunk and extremities, has, in the system of five morphological factors, been dividedinto two particular modalities: the mesomorphic variation and the gynomorphic variation of voluminosity's factor. On both solutions a subcomponent of skeleton's transversal dimensionality was isolated, defined by cephalometric variables. The factor of transverzal dimensionality of skeleton has not been isolated in the four-dimensional, neither in the five-dimensional solution.
