Sažetak
Cross-sectional study on anthropometric characteristics was carried out on the sample consisted of 2, 372 boy aged 7 to 18 years. 15 anthropometric variables were classified in four groups:longitudinal skeleton dimensionality, body voluminosity, transversal skeleton dimensionality and subcutaneous fat. The results showed that the growth spurt took place between 13 and 14 years of age. Transversal skeletal measures reached their peak between 14 and 15 years. The greatest augmentation of the body massand voluminosity values was obvious at 14 years. These measures showed great similarity in change dynamism across the age groups in relation to ranges of annual increments and in coefficients of variability. The measures of limb skinfolds were gradualy decreasing from the age of 12, but they resumed increasing after the period of slower height growth at the age of 17. According to the trunk skinfolds, subcutaneous fat grew from 7 to 14 years relatively evenly, whereas in the limb skinfolds measures growth showed smaller scopes, especially in the period 9 to 14 years.More distinct subcutaneous fat is noticeable between 14 and 15 years, with high variability.
