Sažetak
Severe battle of competitors that takes place in European tourist market stimulates qualitative development of offer for want of necessity's development and turbulent surroundings. New shapes of offer, appropriate for tourists' greater expectations arise. Stressful and accelerated way of life demands larger implementation of health and sport contents, which emerge active holidays and escape from everyday problems. Modern tourist turns to wellness-offer in need of improving his health and beauty. Synergic combination of medicine and tourism demands tourist's comeback to himself and healthy life. Croatia is set aside by resource content for health tourism and emerging of balneotherapy and talassotherapy. Unfortunately, wellness-offer is at it's beginning and far below its' development's possibilities.
