Sažetak
Effects of genotype and environment on quality traits of bread winter wheat cultivars were investigated. Four Croatian bread winter wheat were grown in 12 environments (2 years x 3 locations x 2 sowing times). Additive main effects and multiplicative interaction procedure (AMMI1) was used to present both main effects (additive) and interaction (multiplicative) in form of the biplots for each quality trait. Variability of effect of genotipe and environment on quality traits among cultivars was established. The cultivars Kuna and Banica had high performance for most quality traits (protein content, wet gluten content, Zeleny sedimentation volume). Kuna had favourable values for dought development time, Banica excelled in extensibility and energy. These two cultivars showed breeding advantage and stability. Žitarka had a good mean value for wet gluten content and dought development time, but showed stability only for dought development time. Marija had unfourable mean values for the majority of traits investigated. The location Savska Ves and Hrastelnica were suitable and stable. Vegetation year 2001 was more suitable than 2000. There was no difference in suitability and stability between two sowing times (early, optimal).
