Sažetak
The paper investigates the possibilities that information technologies may enable in the business system of a construction company. The ways of its application in particular functions that are the parts of whole business task, and in particular organisation units of the company is presented. Furthermore, the impact of current information technologies on connections between single parts of a business system is analysed. It is explained how information connections among the particular business functions and organisational units enable the operating of each of them in the interest of the entire structure. Finally, the term of integrated business and its characteristics is explained, as well as the necessity of its application in construction.
