Sažetak
The differential elastic backscattering cross section has been determined for backscattering of 6Li-ions from fluorine at energies between 2.5 and 7 MeV. The scattering angle was 150° in laboratory system. It was found that the ratio between the measured cross section and the Rutherford value is constant up to energy 4.5 MeV. Significant deviations from the Rutherford value have been found for energies above 5 MeV. Experimental results of the cross section were corrected for the screening effect. Deviations from the Rutherford cross sections are compared with predictions of the theoretical model developed by Bozonian.
