Sažetak
Croatian Telecom possesses huge amounts of data which has been collected for various purposes. The pilot project was deployed to get new insights about the distribution of errors and interferences in Croatian Telecom’ s network. This paper describes the usage of descriptive data mining modeling for getting valuable insights from the observational data, the results of the analysis and possible benefits from these results. The special emphasis was given to the usage of probabilistic model-based clustering and on EM algorithm which is used for estimation of parameters of the model.
