Sažetak
A series of catanionic surfactants was prepared and characterized. Investigations of the thermal solid state transitions revealed three kind of endothermic transitions in heating cycle. The increase of the hydrocarbon chain length shifted all the endothermic peaks to higher temperatures. The enthalpy decrease revealed that the solid-to-liquid crystalline transition become less expressed when the longer hydrocarbon chain was replaced with the shorter one.
