Sažetak
During the period from birth to slaughter we have investigated potassium(K) and sodium(Na) in plasma(P) and erythrocytes(E) ; haemoglobin(Hb), haematocrit(PCV), lipid peroxides(measured as TBARS)and reduced glutathione(GSH).Twelve Simmental bulls were investigated during fattening from 3.2-15.2 months of age.Blood was taken five times in heparinized glas tubes.TBARS, GSH and Hb were determined in whole blood spectrophotometrically, while K and Na were determined by ion selective electrode. GSH, Hb and PCV had the lowest values in young animals. That was not the case with TBARS, KP, NaP and NaE.KE was the highest in young animals.K/Na ratio was more stable in erythrocytes than in plasma in the course of fattening.
