Sažetak
Nuclear interaction saturates and nuclei display behavior typical of liquids which are macroscopically characterized as fluids resistive to compression and microscopically by vanishing mean-free-path. Owing to their hydrodynamic-like properties the global feature of low-energy nuclear dynamics is strong absorption and a sharp cut-off picture. Nevertheless, there are examples of incomplete nuclear opacity which may manifest as surface transparency or as incomplete stopping.
