Sažetak
Instead of external sensory systems utilisation, nominal currents of feed drives were implemented for cutting tool wear monitoring. The signals were taken by using machine control unit. Several features from time and frequency domain have been extracted. Together with Radial Basis Function Neural Network, they were used for a tool wear level determination. Sensitivity of every type of feature to tool wearing was determined separately and in combinations. From all analyses that were carried out, only the main and most significant results are presented and discussed.
