Sažetak
The discussion here is concentrated on the optimisation of centrifugal pump controls of the cooling plant in the aluminium factory TLM Šibenik. The goal of optimisation is to minimize the pump operating costs and thereby minimize the unit cost of cooling through energy consumption and maintenance costs. In the paper a short description of the cooling plant, review of the methods of centrifugal pump control and the suggestion of the optimal pump control for the considered pump station were given.
