Sažetak
After the independence was declared, Croatia has transformed it's so called "social property system" into a capitalistic system. The change was huge because, in a social property system, the private property was unknown concept. The huge changes in the international relationship also have happened. The concept of social interventionist policy was replaced with general liberalistic concept, and new policy of international exchange was established. The main reason for mentioned changes was the intention of Croatia to become a member of Euro-Atlantic association. However, during these processes lot of omissions also happened and that reflected upon Croatian international economic and political relationship. These transformations, as well as mentioned omissions are the main topic of this paper. The general conditions and processes of globalisation are introduced in the first part of the paper. The second part deals with dynamic, structure and basic features of Croatian international trade policy. The last part gives the evaluation of Croatian international trade, and assessment of Croatian international policy.
