Sažetak
In Croatia and Istria, there exist numerous cities, which possess a huge potentials for better development of congress tourism. By the solid supply congress tourists are very polite consumers and they can insure to urban destination very high frequency of financial inflow. To get better cognitions about this form of travel, in this paper we would analysed various trends of congress travels as in the world, so in Europe, strengthens and weakness in the Croatia. The cognition about this pattern of travel is important for the marketing and management of the enterprises because the people in this structure have to take care about the fulfilled of the leisure time, all necessary contents in and out of the hotel area during the maintenance of congress. On this way we can except the optimal meeting of congress traveller needs, this can insure to congress destinations much bigger both tourist and entire consumption.
