Sažetak
In July 2002 two fat dormice (Glis glis L.) died in captivity suffering from severe depression and accelerated breathing. Necropsy revealed full-blooded kidneys, haemorrhagic cystitis and erosions on the stomach mucous membrane. Bilateral pyelonephritis was proven by a pathohistological survey of the kidneys. This article presents the complex pathological changes, which are most probably the result of immunosuppression, caused by stress. The described status enabled the spread of conditional pathogens.
