Sažetak
This paper aims at explaining the way in which the transition induced changes in family policy. This is a trial to identify economic reasons for both the reduction in rights and the eventual later improvement in family policy measures. The focus is on four family policy measures: maternity/paternity/parental leave, child benefit, child tax relief and childcare programms.
