Sažetak
This paper deals with finite element calculation for large strain problems when using incompressible hyperelastic rubber material models. The Mooney-Rivlin and van der Waals (Kilian) models will come into consideration. Both material models considered have been implemented to the FE code Lagamine for plain strain, axisymetric and three-dimensional cases. The problem of constant volime (incompressibility) is solved nearly exactly by using the penalty method: An exact two-dimensional model for the plane stress problems has been developed too. Numerical examples show the performance of penalty formulation for two-and three-dimensional problems chosen as well as the performance of exact (plane stress) formulation.
